My name is Ashley. I'm originally from Saint Marys, GA but currently live in Canton,GA. I live with my husband Eric (my highschool sweetheart, if that's what you want to call him), we've been married for almost 4 years, and our boxer named MacGuyver (we call him Mac for short). I love to eating cheesecake and sushi (not together though), reading, writing, making lists then rewriting them like 4 times, categorizing my grocery list (I've got OCD about it), sleeping, being in the bathroom (it's my most favorite room to be in), and just being quirky and random. I'm very laid back and really just go with whatever life throws at me. I mean, you can't really do anything about what happens except make the best of every situation.I recently had heart surgery. I found out that I was born with a rare heart condition. It's called (take a deep breath) Partial Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return. It usually occurs more in infants and is fixed before they are two years old. Basically, one of my pulmonary veins connected at the bottom of my heart where the blood came back into it, my right lung was smaller than normal,my right atrium was bigger than normal because it pumped double and all of the blood wasn't circulating throughout my body. So they took out that vein and gave me a fake one made out of Gortex (it's a raincoat-like material) relocating the blood flow, so now it pumps like it's supposed to. It's just amazing the things that medical science can do these days. Someone was really looking out for me! I still can't believe that I went soooo long without ever finding out until now.Other than that...life goes on. I'm still alive and I'm here. I have a great family and great friends.
