About Me

Started liking music at a very early age when still doing grade three at Courtney Selous in Greendale Harare Zimbabwe. Then i listened to Ganster Rap when it was still in its early stages, the likes of NWA Public Enemy Naughty By Nature etc. I was then introduced to Reggae music by my neighbor Maxwell Mashayamombe who then was in High School and from then on i fell in love with it.Just Reality by Shabba Ranks then was causing a lot of damage on the airwaves world wide and it also made me fall in Love with this new kind of music that was taking the world by storm. I then also got exposed to other artist like Tiger, Ninjaman, Cutty Ranks, Buju Banton, Charlie Chaplin which made my roots sink even deeper into this new vibe.Later on in high School at Msengezi i became so obsessed by Dancehall music that's when i started writing my own lyrics but didn't see the door of a studio until years later all because this kind of music was regarded as trash in my country.I left Zimbabwe in November 2000 for Botswana where i stayed for four years before i went back to Zimbabwe which then had a transforming market for Reggae and Dancehall but did not actually get the chance to properly record all because of the little free time i had.I later recorded Mama Dont Cry at Chigutiro Studios in Zimbabwe then beeing run by Sipho Aka The Playboy, this song is featured on the Father Bentleys International Culture Collection Track Number 22.I later also recorded dozens of other songs that never got to be released because all the Chigutiro studio works were stolen sometime in 2008. All i have are just raw samples of these songs which i got after recording them.I later managed to team up with Mokery who happens to be the baddest ever Producer for dancehallRiddims in Zimbabwe and we put up a bedroom studio in my flat. Also there on the production side was Gatsby Warrior the son of One of Zimbabwes greatest ever gospel singer Machanic Manyeruke and Jeepers Creepers. The studio just did one riddim album production before we decided to try South Africa for a better chance at a short at this music.I'm currenlty working on my debut album to be entitled Authentic due out at anytime
