"Rosie G. The Latina from Brooklyn" as she is known, has worked in the music industry for more than 20 years in a number of diverse capacities ranging from: DJ-ing, voice-over work to Internet radio host. Rosie's career highlights include Vh1.com, WBLS-FM, MTV Networks, MTVI Group, WNEW-AM Radio and WRAT-FM.
Rosie has also worked in a number of different radio formats from Urban/Dance to Jazz to Modern Rock to Tropical (Salsa & Merengue). Rosie was the host of, "The New York Latin Mix", a weekly Internet show featuring the best in Salsa and Merengue music, plus Latin top ten lists and artist interviews.
Rosie had worked in the Music content department at MTVI. Rosie also booked talent for Radio Sonicnet's Celebrity DJ stations.
Rosie who is very proud of her Spaniard and Puerto Rican heritage, grew up listening to such Latin Legends such as, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Ismael Rivera and famous flamenco artists like Carlos Montoya and Lola Flores. In her own words Rosie says, "Music is still thrilling for me and I'm always searching for that song that moves me in some way" Rosie is bi-lingual and had been an interpreter for Latin Jazz artists for Blue Note Records. She has also been heavily influenced by the Beatles and the Motown sound. Rosie, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, still resides there.
