Dj Suicide aka Suey

My taste in music varies quite a bit. . I started playing music when I was about 10 years old on my mums sound system. She was the first all female sound in England. Back then I was still just a little boy with an enormous amount of energy for music. I tried playing the keyboard and the trumpet but finally ended up on my mums SL1200 turntables. Before I knew it I was djing everywhere. Needless to say, it had quite an impact on me. When I eventually got myself some turntables, I spent my every waking hour practicing and teaching myself through watching battle videos or going to shows. Eventually I got decent and joined up with the N.A.P. crew, we got quite big touring the whole of the UK. Big respect to people like Commander B, who at that time was a radio presenter on Choice FM. Commander B, took us under his wings, giving us the opportunity to hone our radio skills on a commercial station. With me Suey aka dj suicide on the decks, we lasted for about tow year's on Commander B’s show. During this time we also took a well-deserved break to Ayia nappa were we done a few live show's from. Choice FM, was not my first legal radio slot, as I had been the opening DJ/presenter on Fundamental Radio when I was 15 years old. However, after spending quite a few years with NAP, I decided to try and start a younger crew (NdoubleA aka Ndubz). NdoubleA, are a serious set of talented young people at the heart of UK garage/Grime and have made a number of CD’s, records and music DVD’s. From about 12 years old, I have been experimenting and creating beats; many of the tracks used by my crew have been influenced by my rhythms. My Viagra rhythm has become one of the most popular. I now own one of the biggest underground radio stations in London ONTOP FM 95.5. witch Mr. Madness, runs for me . This gives me the outlet to promote UK underground talent, and help to keep the music alive. There is much more coming watch this space !!!
