I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I love music (listening to it and making it ). I like to claim that I could kick your ass at Rock and Roll Jeopardy, or the regular kind, but I probably can't. I work from home as Firm Administrator for a software developer, so I guess I'm also a bit of a computer nerd. I love cheap pizza, over-priced latte, Jane Austen, Douglas Coupland, Nick Hornby, Paul McCartney, Shakespeare, and the Trailer Park Boys. I'm a short, bespectacled, messy but organized, red-haired, blue-eyed, left-handed, musical, smartsy, animal person. I'm not a veggie fan and I hate onions, but will try any food at least once. I'm always right on time, meaning two or three minutes late. I'm always homesick, and love my peeps (especially the furry ones - I have two cats and a dog). I have actually been attempting to cook lately. Whether or not the results are edible is basically a crap shoot, but I deserve points for trying. My fridge still contains pop and lots of takeout containers, but other things too, like, you know, vegetables and stuff. I spend too much money on things I don't need (aforementioned take-out, and my shiny new gym membership that I've used about three times so far). I'm generous, and a fierce and loyal friend.Oh, and I love gadgets and widgets, like this one: Text my cell! Gimme some sugar. Please enter your name.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Positive, intelligent people who can make me laugh. You earn ten bonus points if you can spell, and don't have 100 wannabe porn stars on your Friends list.By the way, I don't accept friend requests from strangers. So at least say hi first.Oh, and I'd love to meet Jude. And Stevie Wonder. And I'd love to meet Dan Bern again.

'tis a sad state of affairs...

... when "Do Not" #4 has to be spelled out for people who buy coffeepots like mine. Some of you might get a chuckle out of this, and the rest of you will roll your eyes emphatically. Either way, I not...
