Tommy G Experience

Original Folk- Rock From North Carolina.Tommy G Experience was formed in 1983 in Greenville, NC.The band started as the Gillespie/Hamer Band.It reformed later to play the songs of Tom Gillespie(Tommy G)in the triangle area of NC.Mike Hamer went on to form his own band.The original drummer was Vince Brooks.A beloved friend-who died in 2005.The new band was formed in 2006 after a 20 year hiatus of Tom Gillespie.The present band members are Bill Newton,Grant Spry,Willie Painter,Bob Aiken,Craig Dittmar and Gillespie.The band resides in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area of North Carolina.
