The Nepaug Groove has evolved from the Nepaug Raiders in November 2006. That month Scott (lead guitar) and Andrew (rhythm/lead guitar & vocals) joined forces with John (bass & vocals) and Ralph (drums). Around September 2007, Joe took Ralph's place on percussion, Dan took over on percussion in April 2008 and last but certainly not least, Evan and his bass drum, Eddie took over on drums in July 2008. Currently we practice and record at John's house in Torrington, CT. Although Torrington is not by any means the epicenter of greatness like Nepaug, we are still dignified in calling ourselves the Nepaug Groove, since John grew up there, Andrew lives there still, and Scotty crawled out of a hole in one of those obscure Nepaug Indian caves, and was raised by armadillos. Regrettably, Evan did not come from Nepaug but at least he has prooved himself able to party as hard as any Nepaug native!
