Aaron Ficca was born on November 15th, 1977 in Tampa, Florida, and at the age of 10 he moved to Boulder, Colorado. Having been brought up in a musical family, with a father who currently plays in Firefall and a mother with an extensive singing background, he was surrounded by music from an early age and began playing the drums at 16 years old. Aaron started playing professionally at the age of 17, in a Rock/Reggae band Trepanation, he started touring and making records at the age of 18, first with Trepanation, then Pertalas and Sucker. Upon moving to Los Angeles in 2004, he joined the band One Winter Left, playing shows in and around L.A., as well as filling in for the band Aerial. He is currently playing with country sensation, Kelley Shepard and L.A. based rock band, Lucid Fly. His artistry in the studio combined with his excellent stage presence and original ideas make him a significant addition to any project.
