About Me

Hello there. I grew up in Seattle WA where I learned to play the fiddle, first cutting my bow hair on Scandinavian dances. I joined a bluegrass band when I was 15 after winning the state and regional fiddling championships. (Junior Divisions) Fast forwarding about twelve years, my friends and I started a yodeling cowgirl band in the late 80s called Ranch Romance. We toured as k.d.lang's opening act for most of a year, made some records for Sugar Hill, and then I quit and moved to Nashville in the 90s. I had my own deal with Sugar Hill for a couple of recording's worth, then started my own label, Lots of Coffee Records. Over the years I have played with tons of good bands, Asleep At The Wheel, The John Cowan Band, The Laura Love Band and for brief bits of time, Peter Rowan, Trisha Yearwood, Tony Trischka and bunches of others. When you live in a town like Nashville, you get a lot of great fiddling opportunities.I am currently performing a solo show. (see video clip)
