I am someone who truly appreciates life and the God in me. I have been blessed with an opportunity to fulfill my desire to be in entertainment as the bailiff on the "Judge David Young" show. If you would like to get more information about the show, the judge (who is a wonderful human being!), and see photos and clips of me, check the website: www.judgedavidyoung.com. My role in television is strikingly similar to my real job as a New York State Court Officer. I became a court officer in 1996, promoted to sergeant on 2001 and lieutenant in 2004. My career in law enforcement is my primary profession but I recently completed my Master's in Social Work and I hope to someday combine both professions. I have accomplished a lot in life so far, and I feel it is my duty to help and empower others to succeed. My family has been very instrumental in shaping my life. My mother, Joyce Young taught me to love God, love myself and to love others. She was afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis at an early age and was wheelchair bound. In 1996 she transitioned but I feel her love all around me. My sister, Nubia is also a great inspiration and source of strength for me. My friends are also very important to me as they continue to support and encourage my efforts. I am grateful for the adversities in my life that have built my character and keep me grounded. So, with all that being said, I push forward, maintain a positive attitude and "Keep it MOVING!"
