haruki murakami is incredible. my favorite book by him is the wind up bird chronicle, but i've read almost everything he's written so far. i have this really bad habit of starting new books, reading half way through them and then i set them aside because i can't bare for them to come to an end. so i now have all these partly read books lying sweetly suspended in time just waiting for me to come back and visit them again.
