I have four children, two grown and two almost grown. I have four grandchildren and one I didn't get the opportunity to meet, God took her home without any of us getting to hold her and one on the way. I have spent my life being mom and memaw and now the time is approaching for me to be me and I'm not sure who that is or how that is going to work. Being a single mom of four I've worked hard and long hours, been to every school function and most every field trip known to man, but now that those days are almost over I feel as though I've missed some things. If nothing else I taught them all to be independent and to stand up. I love each of them dearly. I love my critters, too. I loved family nights (I miss the most), tent camping, traveling, fires in the firepit out back, sitting in front of the fireplace having a drink, long baths and summertime. I'm a Carolina fan, Atlanta Braves, and Steelers fan. Love going to the races.
