CARNEIA. [Album out now!]

CARNEIA is an experimental band that combines thoughtful riffs, dynamical playing, a variety of rhythmic styles, instrumental improvisation and powerful vocal lines. All of that creates an intense and eclectic sound that incorporates several musical genres going from alternative rock to post-hardcore and back to progressive metal. CARNEIA rose in 2007 out of the ashes of heavy rock band Kyunin. Convinced about the fact that new ways needed to be explored, Carneia locked themselves up in their rehearsal room and started to write new songs inspired by bands such as Tool, Amenra and Meshuggah. After a while several people with troubled minds paid Carneia a visit and tend to describe Carneia as heavy, dark and sometimes melancholic.
At the end of 2007 CARNEIA decided to start the recordings of their first full length album ‘White Coma Light’ in ‘¼ inch Jack Studio’. Mixing and mastering is done by Thomas Combes. The result is a full length album containing 7 songs.
Their debutalbum is released on "OFFERANDUM RECORDS"
