The Dirty Bastards

About Me

Formed back in 1912, when Robert the Bard was only 16 years old, the Dirty Bastards roved and wandered all over the world, playing in streets, pubs and folk sessions. From Orkney down to Dover, walking drunk all across the Ireland, down to Trinacria and then finally docking to Insubria, where they actually live in tenancy and slum, the Dirty Bastards evolved their musical style, including rock attitude sound, but never forgetting their high and unresponsible alcoholic vocation.
Ok, this a romantic version of the story. But the real one is that we are all musicians and friends envolved in well-known Insubrian bands; we discovered a common passion for Irish music, folk traditions and drinking as much as possible so we decided to put up a folk-rock-drunk project just to have fun, go drunk and flirt as many sweet chicks as possible. Unsuccessfully, of course. The band includes members from Hyades, Dustineyes, This Grace, Atto IV, Hatework and many other bands from Insubrian area. Uncle Bard & Dirty Bastards band is nothing more than the explicitation of our passion in playing music, drinking and have fun on stage with comrades and long time good friends. We re-arrange traditional songs in a rock-punk-metal way, and we also play cover songs from The Dubliners, The Pogues and other bands more. Absolutely nothing new and alternative, but just something to have & make fun, to get drunk and party all night long with you all: travellers, vagrants, boozers.
