About Me

Originally from Arkansas, so I'm not from around here. I've been in the area since about July of '06. I've come up here many many times for vacations in the previous years and was finally convinced by my now roomate to move up here. She drove a hard bargain, and neglected to tell me how cold it gets up here. Thankfully the weather is getting warmer, I didn't think that I was going to beable to live in the neg zero temps, but I made it!
So, a little more about me: I'm a singer. Learning to play the guitar, again. Its been a while and I need more practice and a patient teacher. I write poems, and working on writing songs. My fave music is Hard Rock/Metal. I'm always listening to my Hard Stuff. Thier is just something about the lead quitars and lead male vocals that stirrs something deep within my soul, I can't place it. Its moving and I don't want to know, I just want to continue being moved.
Right now, I'm looking for a band, to either create one or become a member in an existing. I don't have to be the lead vocalist, backup/partners is fine with me. Its just always been my dream. For now, to help with my stage presence, I sing Karaoke at Crossroads on Thursday nights. I've had offers come out it, guest singing in other people's bands as a one time deal and maybe more down the road. Its also lead to contacts for auditioning for bands. So far none of them have took me on, and every one I know says thier insane for not, but we'll see where it all pans out in the end.
I have 5 tattoos. I plan on getting more. Right now I'm having the comedy/trajedy designed to go on my mid/lower back (no, not a tramp stamp).
For fun, besides singing, I like to play pool, darts & I like to bowl. I'm a nerd/geek in the fact that I own a playstation II & a super nintendo and I've been known to lose myself sometimes playing games on them and SneezyMud online.
Outdoor activities include: Hunting, fishing, swimming, hiking, mudding, 4x4-ing and just anything you can imagine that we would do out in the country/middle of know where in the forests/mountains of Arkansas..... I miss that Natural State.
