People watching. Taking long random walks to get lost. Reading anything and everything to get found. Wine tasting and art openings are pretty obvious givens...but I prefer to do them with people who genuinely want to learn from the experiences, or at least truly enjoy them. Travel. Blueberry pancakes. Both are at the core of my existence.
someone named Oliver. Or Rufus
I hate picking favorites, so here is what is in my Cd player right now: Modest Mouse; Tori Amos; Beck; Marvin Gaye;James; Jurassic 5;The Cult; Billie Holiday
Breakfast at Tiffany's; Amelie; Amadeus; Dangerous Liasons;Zoolander;Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind; probably a lot more, probably a lot more I like better. My guilty pleasure is any lofty period romance/drama.
Antiques Roadshow; lots of junk on Bravo.
I'm big on biographies and nonfiction. The Picture of Dorian Gray is a classic favorite. Ruth Ozeki's My Year of Meats is a good recent read. Just started reading Willem de Kooning's bio, v. interesting. I might be willing to pay the exorbitant subscription price for Modern Painter if Mathew Collings wrote the entire magazine.
It depends on the day.
