Where the Ride Never Ends!

I'd like to meet:

All our sanctity depends on Mother Mary's maternal love. The ones she desires to share the joy of her own poverty and simplicity, the ones whom she wills to be hidden as she is hidden, are the ones who share her closeness to God.

Music:

Classic Rock, Classical, good rap, Classic country and music we make.

Movies:

World war 2 movies, especially submarine ones, All action flicks or a good WTF? one.

Television:

Mostly movies, but Seinfeld cracks me up

Books:

A few verses from Ella Wheeler's poem "Solitude" __________________________________________________ Laugh, and the world laughs with you; Weep and you weep alone; For the sad old earth must borrow it's mirth, but has trouble enough of it's own. Sing, and the hills will answer; Sigh, it is lost on the air; The echoes bound to a joyful sound, but shrink from voicing care. _______________________________________________ The mood of these verses seems to be one of sad resignation. The idea that the earth (and by extension mankind) has to "borrow" its happy feelings coupled wth the idea that we each experience our sorrows alone evokes a kind of gentle sadness, to me. There also seems to be the implication that no one wants to hear our sorrows ("echoes bound to a joyful sound, but shrink from voicing care") We share our happiness with the world, but our sighs, sorrows, and cares are our burdens alone to bear.
