In 1994 Chris Horsfield opened Chris's Barber shop,which steadily built up over the years. The barber shop was structured so that it would appeal to all ages and that everyone would feel welcome.
In 2003 Chris took a gap year to go travelling in Australia,as well as exploring the East coast he worked in Brisbane and Sydney as a barber, this turned out to be a valuable learning experience. Whilst living in Australia Chris attended inspirational cutting seminars in Darling Harbour,central Sydney. This gave him an ideas on re-modeling Chris's Barber Shop on his return.
Since returning home Chris's barber shop is now re-named - The Hyde Park Hair Shop Ltd. The refurbishment has been ongoing over a two year period and is very near completion. The companies ethos is now a balance of classic mens hairdessing that caters for all ages and a blend of contemporary styles,this is maintained by regular professional development.
