=======================
My name is Brian Gutierrez and I think I have
a fascination with my genealogy:
I'm 1/2 Spaniard, 1/4 Aztec Mexican and 1/4 Japanese.
I can speak this language pretty well, Spanish,
a good amount of French, and a good amount of Japanese
that is slowly fading away...
I'm a UC graduate on the verge of existentialism.
I'm the hybrid of activism and art. I do photography,
digital work, performance, sewing, fashion, installation,
music, and video art.
I'm an environmentalist, a firm animal rights believer,
leftist, and I study queer-culture.
Hmmm, I LOVE to eat!!! I'm semi-vegan and pro-animal rights...
and I'm a huge fan of cultural foods and have tasted much
of the world's culture cuisine. I'm trying to become
a Raw Foodist...but there's way too much temptation
out there...it's just not fair, but soon these cravings will
stop and I can lead a life of healthy eating!
I love to go to art galleries and museums, clubs,
theme parks, and traveling. Sadly enough, Riverside
has almost nothing to offer as far as anything goes.
I'm pretty passive. I have a weird sense of humor and
I don't let little things bother me. If you're a
close friend or a co-worker, you'll know that I'm pretty
sarcastic. I'm a bit of videogame bum...but not really
ashamed of it. It is my "anti-drug"...i guess?? I'm a good
listener and give horrible advice! ...sometimes???
I'm also kind of shy; who isn't, right? But...I hate being
center of attention and I don't like the spotlight at all...
I'm not the typical American, so you won't
find any patriotism in me.
Sometimes I wish aliens would abduct me and take me with them,
because I think I'm too down to Earth.
I got back into the habit of going to
the gym. I go about 3 or 4 times a week and
usually head to the 24 hr fitness in Fontana, but
have access to all nationwide. Anyone who wants to
partner up, feel free to ask; I usually go at night.
Also, though I haven't played in a very long time,
I love to play all sorts of active sports.
I've done some traveling already (thanks to financial aid
and my low-income household status--so for the dirt poors
out there...get good grades and being poor isn't so bad)
Places I've visited are:
-Mexico City, Mexico (many summer vacations)
-Salt Lake City, Utah (spring 2005)
-Kyoto, Japan (summer 2005)
-Leeds, England (spring 2006)
-London, England (spring 2006)
-Milan, Italy (spring 2006)
-Barcelona, Spain (spring 2006)
-Dusseldorf, Germany (spring 2006)
-Cologne, Germany (spring 2006)
I'm hoping to see many many many more. I wanna go back to Japan so bad, and I'm aiming for Tokyo this time!
I'm a human being capable of loving anyone.
