March of 2007 at Rivergate Skate Center in Nashville, TN is where it all began. The random idea to go skating during a regular Sunday night adult session brought three beautiful young women together on the wood. Aisha, Ashley and Erin were all rocking the “brownies†mostly on the inside beginners circle not knowing that this was a start of a lifetime friendship which evolved into one of the most spunky, talented, well-known female groups around… Dream Girls on Wheels. Although these three women are from different states, they all came to Nashville to accomplish the same goal in attending and graduating from Tennessee State University. After fulfilling their dreams of becoming college educated women, they felt it was time to add something different yet fun as an extra curricular activity… the joy of skating. The ladies decided to make their love for skating more visual on and off the rink by getting matching tattoos; what a bonding experience! The Dream Girls enjoy traveling and meeting new people who shares the same love and passion of skating. They have traveled to Memphis, Atlanta, Chicago, Ohio, Indianapolis, Kentucky, Alabama, and St. Louis. Being new to the skate world Dream Girls really stood out with their style, grace and beauty which is how they came up with their group name. As the months and skate jams flew by, one new member was added to the group; Nikki. Outside of skating the ladies love to go out to eat with friends, shopping, going to the movies, dancing, and most of all attending church together. The Dream Girls are not only a great skate crew they are a FAMILY! As an added addition to the Dream Girls family, they have collaborated with the newest skate crew…The High Rollers of Nashville, TN.
