About Me
In October 2006, Lenny & G (friends & iNSURGENTS band mates) ended up moving into what was to become "Brainfragment Records". These 4 walls have seen a lot of productivity. It was once "Primitive Studios" (Exile) where Ben Schatz recorded the BEEFCAKESUCKERS S/T album, and most recently it was the home of "Flowing Records", where Florian Spitz recorded the latest ZION release "A Common Devotion".
We spent most of 2006 & 2007 on getting the studio up and running, recording and releasing the first iNSURGENTS demo, doing preproduction for Mosard and Lenny's "Slang FM", the voice over for "Free to Fly" film clip, the pilots for the new "Beefcakesuckers" Album, as well as numerous tracks for Mosard's upcoming album.
In 2008, we've recorded new some new iNSURGENTS demos, the CODENAME: G3 EP and we are currently finishing off the upcomming demo from "LOT".
Our studio is like a work of art; constantly growing and improving as time goes by. Currently our studio is comprised of 3 main rooms; RECORDING BOOTH (Mackie 24/12 Mixer, 2 x M-Audio Delta LT Soundcards (16 Tracks), diverse hard and software effects / compressors / Preamps), RECORDING ROOM (Hughes & Kettner Attax 80, Nemesis Bass amp, Behringer Mixer & Monocord PA 880 via PEAVY speakers) and CHILL-OUT AREA (complete with PC & Laptop, Coffee Machine, Refrigerator, Couches, etc.).
