About Me

I JUST GRADUATED COLLEGE!! That gave me a Business Management degree with a minor in Marketing. And I just got engaged in November. Oh wait, you want some more good news?! On or around April 4, 2007 I will be a mom to a baby boy named Kyler Jaymison (I think). This is something I've longed for for a long time, and never thought it would take place with the most amazing man in the world. It literally is a dream come true for me. I do live a fairytale life right now. Thanks Brandon.... I could get really mushy about him right now since he is the best thing that has ever happened to me, but, I don't want to scare you away from reading about me....So, since I've learned that I'm going to be a mom my life has changed drastically. I have taken on a whole new meaning to the word "life." And I'm sure that will even change more after the fact, but for now, I enjoy spending every second I can with Brandon and our dogs, Attica and Jersey-and of course the people that really do care about me and my well-being. You know, the finer things in life. If I'm not doing that, you can find me sitting behind my desk at work on myspace desperately trying to keep in touch with all of my long lost friends, and snooping around on everyone's profiles. (Don't act like you don't do it. Shit.) And if I'm not doing that, I love to eat, so you can find me at any given restaurant sampling one of everything (including dessert, my favorite).I love to workout and throw weights around with the big dogs-acting like I know what I'm doing. Through that I've learned, and this goes with anything in life, if you have confidence in what you are doing or saying, people will believe you know what you are doing, and hence, leave you alone. With that said, I love to argue when I'm wrong, and only when I'm wrong, because half the fun is convincing someone I'm right. All it takes is a little confidence. I admire that in a person. If you know me, you know that I am the "take it or leave it" kind of girl. I am what I am and you have the choice to like it or not. And if you don't, you won't find me trying to convince you otherwise. Oh, and I really have a hard time with people who can't spell and use the gramatically correct words in a sentence such as "the car is over they're," instead of "the car is over there." And yes, there is a big difference between a "typo" and someone being an idiot. I also hate people who don't take responsibility for their own actions and always try to point the finger at someone else for their pathetic life. And I don't like when people fight unfairly, saying mean things to hurt someone only to apologize for it later. Life is too short to be wasting it apologizing....that is why I try to live my life with no regrets so I don't have to apologize to myself or anyone else.....Although I have been guilty of it a time or two. I never said I was perfect, I just hate when people do it. I absolutely do love my life and living it, my friends and family, my dogs, showering after camping, seeing old people hold hands and call each other "baby", my fiance, rain, being pregnant, and hearing the hilarious things that kids say to their parents in public that embarrass them.

Music:

Can't live without it. For those that know me know my C.D collection has so many random people/groups in it. My favorite is country, although I can get down to some TuPac or CCR.

Movies:

8 Seconds, Old School, Meet the Parents and Fockers, Miami Rhapsody, S.W.A.T. , A Beautiful Mind...i'm just naming movies i have on my dvd rack. does anyone read this shit anyway?

Television:

Mystery Diagnosis, Dr. G Medical Examiner, Trauma: Life in the E.R., Babies: Special Delivery. Channel 279 on DIrect tv is pretty much the only thing I watch. Anything medical-related and greusome.... love it!! Cops is funny too. Makes me appreciate my life...

Books:

Whatever was required for school. Finance 301 sucked. Don't read it. I actually don't enjoy reading. It makes me tired and makes me go cross-eyed, although I hear there are a ton of great books out there. Maybe some day. It took my dad 50 years to read something for "fun," so we'll see if I beat him on that.

Heroes:

Besides my family and good friends who know who they are, my absolutely stunning boyfriend, Brandon. He is my life. Everday he amazes me with his unconditional love. I am blessed to have such a wonderful man. My best friend Carrie is also my hero. This girl has endured more in a few short years than most people have in their entire lifetime. Through all the downers, and times she's been shit on she has still remained an amazing, loyal person to herself, loved ones and her life. She is the one I turn to for any kind of advice-because no matter how horrid my story is, she always has one that tops it by a million. She is the kind of person that will always pull through any situation and come out even stronger than she was before.
