About Me

So this is the part where I amaze you with my life's history an' shit, eh? Well, there's not much to tell, as far as history goes. I'm 36 and was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. I was raised Catholic and still practice it, though I do have my occasional issues with it.
There are a lot things I like to do to amuse myself. I enjoy
going to movies,
hanging with friends and family,
eating out,
reading, including anime and manga,
drawing and painting, when I have the time,
debating philosophy, science, and theology,
surfing the web,
playing video games (RPGs mostly but I like strategy games, as well),
working out, and
when I have the time, martial arts.
The two biggest things I have a passion for are my family and computers.
I have a great wife who loves me in spite of my being a daily pain in the ass ;-).
My four boys are pretty rowdy but extremely smart. The two oldest are gifted students, good musicians, and have strong political opinions. You can catch them lurking on MySpace, if you know where to look.
The two youngest are full of life and keep me young by being playfully wicked. What other kind of kid would step on your toe by accident, think it was funny, and would stomp it when your not looking, only to run away laughing?
My daughter will never suffer from middle child sydrome. Being the right balance of feminine and tomboy (well, she'd have to be with 4 brothers right?) she could steal your heart without effort. She's also a gifted student and she likes to play kickball ( RapidTech sponsored her team this year).
Of course, computers are my other thing.
I enjoy all aspects of dealing with them though administration sometimes bores me. The fun part is coding - I use C mostly and like shell stuff, but will dabble in DHTML/CSS/PHP, Perl, and, when the occasion demands it, vbscript. Databases are fun, too. (I'm particularly fond of MySQL).
This year I teamed up with Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi and Boodah at RapidTech . We're a local computer company that has gone from non-existant to Best of the Best in the first year. If you would like help with your system, give us a call.
