About Me
my name is zachary cain and i write and play and teach on many instruments such as guitar, bass, drums and even ukelele in a fun, practical and inspired style.
Tailored to the individual, be them young, old, male or female, i specialise in starting folks out on their chosen instruments who want to learn for fun, for themselves or even for those who want to be in bands like their heroes.
My services include:
* Basic introduction to your chosen instrument including musical styles of playing, techniques and how it all relates to the music that you like and especially all of the wonderous possibilities it can bring.
* learning songs that YOU want to learn yourself and show YOU how to play them, whatever the instrument - ie: you tell me which songs and i go and do my homework to show you on next lesson.
* a teaching style that is appropriate to the level and aims and interests of the student.
* Travel to YOU or your prefered location, i am flexible, and i can teach individuals or groups if you are based in north or central London.
* what i beleive is a decent rate of $20 per hour...yes thats $20 PER HOUR! (sell sell sell!!!)
* a patient, inspiring and perhaps most important of all, practical, rather than theoretical style of teaching, showing you basic techniques so that you can play to your songs, improvise around them and even help you to start writing your own!
*Lastly, the lessons can cover many styles such as rock, indie, folk, gypsy, jazz...even punk if its your bag.
This Unique Tutoringship that i offer is for ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS ONLY who are bored with rigid and often tedious methods of learning, and while i have had plenty of worthy experience in both touring, writing and performing (details below!) the one-to-one service i offer is completely un marred by history, being instead, a fresh and excited approach to music.
