Paul Mounsey is a Scottish composer, arranger and producer who for most of his adult life has lived and worked in Brazil. A graduate of Trinity College of Music in London, he has written for television, film, theatre, advertising and also for the Latin American pop market. Over the years he has collaborated with musicians as diverse as Etta James, Michael Nyman, Chico Buarque, Jimmy Cliff, Runrig and John Powell. He has also lectured and written articles on various aspects of music. He’s written pop hits for Mexican boy bands, had chamber works performed on BBC Radio 3, has lived with and recorded the music of indigenous communities in the Amazon rainforest, and to date has released five solo albums...
