I was Born on April 8th 1989 in North Vancouver at Lionsgate Hospital. I developed a love for music before I even entered the world and all my life it's one of the only things that's kept me going. On my 13th Birthday a father of my friend gave me my first four drum lessons and I loved every minute of the knowledge he gave to me. About 5 months later I came home from summer vacation to see that my mother had bought me my very first drumset. I don't think I've ever been so stoked in my life and I played that thing day in day out which must have killed the neighbors as I only knew a few different beats. So I began teaching myself digging deeper and deeper into learning everything I could about drums and drumming. I learned songs by ear, bought all the magazines, asked questions at the music store until my face turned blue, and did everything in my power to keep gaining knowledge and skill. I later joined the highschool band where i learned how to read music and also joined the jazz band where it gave me more freedom to jam and improvise with other musicians. Halfway through highschool in grade 10 I got into some major trouble and was booted out and had to switch to another school. While searching for another place of education I decided I would make use of my time and find a band to play in. I was turned down a ton of times being only 15 everyone wanted someone older. I finally got into a band by the name of Far From Saints and we began playing at nightclubs around Vancouver such as The Roxy, The Buffalo Club, The Picadilly, and tons more. A few years later I am more than proud to announce that I have just gotten a part as the new drummer in an up and coming rock band by the name of Beyond The Fall. I am more than stoked to begin playing with them next month and will do everything I can to serve them well. More to come soon!
