Why am I here in Space.
Why am I here at all.
Small windows.
One small window in time
Flickering fair
Sparkling ware
Landing well
And square
My nose up close
Against the glass
Pressed hard in a way
That my eyes bulge
And my mouth won't say
A view to gain
Through the toy shop window pain
Of klickety wheels
From a tiny small train
Toots of cheer
I'm in a hurry! So clear
Smells of Matchbox cars
And articulated lorries
Plastic ray gun
And glossy spacecraft
With moving parts
Wagon wheels attached
To tiny farm carts
The display surrounded with sprinkles of Smarties
And other assorted munchie lollies
You have at parties
I'd like to stay a little longer
But it's time to move along and on
Along to another small windowI wonder what's down this one.Enjoy the paintings if you can.
