A small town girl with big city dreams.... "She's so quiet" they said..."She's too nice" they said. I'm sure they never saw this coming. I always felt music stirring in me. I guess I couldn't help it, sitting at my daddy's feet while he sang and played his base guitar, and dancing around the house with my mother while she blasted Marvin Gaye as loud as it would go. Songwriting just came natural to me. I've been influenced by nearly every genre and the evidence comes through loud and clear in my music. Born and raised in a small town in North Carolina, music drew me away from the quiet country life. First into Charlotte NC, then to Raleigh NC. I finally made my way to Atlanta GA and hit the ground running. While honing my writing skills on the Hotlanta music scene, I've been fortunate to work with some of the music industry's top tastemakers, including super producers like...Kevin Kendrick(Madonna, OutKast); Khao(T.I., Chris Brown); Chuck Harmony(Ne-yo, Celine Dion); KB & Spec(Whitney Houston); and K-Fam(Destiny's Child);....artists like "Q" from 112, and on the international circut, rapper Hollywood(U.K.), and singer Penny(South Korea). It's unbelievable, even to me sometimes, the opportunities I've had, the places I've been, the people I've been able to work with. After all, I'm just a small town country girl. I'm so blessed to be living out my dreams.
