We are currently in the planning stages of a series of what will now be a monthly event, still at Opposite Cafe (Leeds), on the first Sunday of every month, but this time featuring a really exciting set of artists who will be creating specially commissioned work for each Sunday Club, all based on 'Sunday'. It will serve to offer both an exhibition space whilst also showcasing local talent at a commission free shop. We intend to re-contextualise the exhibition environment by exhibiting in a venue which is primarily a popular public space, bringing artwork to the attention of a wider audience.
We will be taking submssions for work to be sold at the Sunday Club shop, please email for more information or to get in contact with us.
The first Sunday Club of 2008 will be on 2nd March and we will be announcing the first exhibitor very soon.
