“Estridente†se forma como espacio y medio alternativo para el apoyo a esta subcultura, junto con la aparición de la estación en este mismo año. Al comienzo conducido por ismael, donde se programaba solo metal en sus distintas divisiones, como el thrash, el death y el black metal.
Debido a la evolución y renovación constante del programa, Natalia entra a formar parte del mismo, dándole ese singular toque femenino, además de contar con una programación musical amplia y variada de la cual se pueden mencionar el industrial, electro, gótico, dark wave etc.
