J MONEY BAGS
“The Ghostâ€
1995 saw the birth of two life-changing decisions for J Money Bags; he relocated from Fairfield, California to Jackson, Mississippi and he decided to enter into the music industry as a rap artist. Equipped with the support of his family and his astonishing love for hip-hop, J Money was determined to generate the revival of rap as it was in it’s “hay-dayâ€. Initially, J-Mun used his flair for rhyming to battle other local artist in the streets of Jackson. Without any formal training or access to a recording studio, he relied exclusively upon his natural ability and instinctive style to gain a fan based and capture the attention of other artists.
Nearly four years after the launch of his music career, he formed an affiliation with Causin Drama Entertainment. It was through this connection that he was featured on Reese Re’s Mixtape Murders 2.0 and was introduced to Who Want It? Records CEO Rah Fontaine. J Money subsequently became one of the original artist to link with Who Want It? Records once the label was established in Jackson, Mississippi in July of 2005.
J Money is by far an atypical artist. He possesses the ability to transform from a corporate executive to a vehement performer. With a resolve to “live lifeâ€, J Money Bags has discovered the perfect balance. Despite immense odds, he gains immeasurable confidence and determination from maintaining the outlook that although you encounter many defeats in life, you should never let yourself be defeated.
J Money considers himself a ghost mainly because it’s impossible to see him coming.
Along with fellow label mates, J Money is currently working on NFL: They Swear We Ain’t From Here and his solo mix-tape.
J Money is definitely taking lyrical exlax to shit rhymes on his competition!
