About Me

I am married, and raising my 3 sons. I am the former co-owner of Sister Dimension Recording Studio... I play guitar and sing. I also dabble with the drums and bass guitar. I've played in a few bands over the years - namely, Sweet Poison, Insane Dreamer, Orphan, and Astral Knight. I will always remain a creative musical expressionist, despite seemingly obvious conclusions to the contrary... hey, it's in the blood; denial is futile. (...lol...)
“I think it is important to understand that freedom is at the beginning and not at the end. We think freedom is something to be achieved, that liberation is an ideal state of mind to be gradually attained through time, through various practices; but to me, this is a totally wrong approach. Freedom is not to be achieved; liberation is not a thing to be gained. Freedom, or liberation, is that state of mind which is essential for the discovery of any truth, any reality; therefore, it cannot be an ideal; it must exist right from the beginning. Without freedom at the beginning, there can be no moments of direct understanding because all thinking is then limited, conditioned. If your mind is tethered to any conclusion, to any experience, to any form of knowledge or belief, it is not free; and such a mind cannot possibly perceive what is truth.”
-Jiddu Krishnamurti...
I had to check - curiosity got the best of me:

You are The Hierophant

Divine Wisdom. Manifestation. Explanation. Teaching.

All things relating to education, patience, help from superiors. The Hierophant is often considered to be a Guardian Angel.

The Hierophant's purpose is to bring the spiritual down to Earth. Where the High Priestess between her two pillars deals with realms beyond this Earth, the Hierophant (or High Priest) deals with worldly problems. He is well suited to do this because he strives to create harmony and peace in the midst of a crisis. The Hierophant's only problem is that he can be stubborn and hidebound. At his best, he is wise and soothing, at his worst, he is an unbending traditionalist.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

"You stand on the shore of your current Comprehension. Beneath the hazy fog of Enchantment, lies the ocean of Higher Understanding. The lighthouse of Intuition reveals briefly, yet consistently, various islands of Truth peppered on the horizon. Always the explorer, you know you must press on...
The boat, anchored there on the beach, appears seaworthy - but you realize a safe jaunt on the surface will not suffice; after all, the beauty lies deep within the ocean of Higher Understanding. A trip to the islands of Truth will be for naught if the magnificence within the ocean of Higher Understanding is not absorbed and savored... Alas, there may be danger lurking - you may be attacked by a shark, or drown... but you may also stumble upon buried treasure along the way.
You must swim. You must also come to the surface to breathe in the air of Reality occasionally; a moment of reprieve to sustain your energies for your quest, and also a moment to gauge how far your journey has taken you, and how much further you have to go...
...As you heave yourself onto the shore of the First Truth, you stand, amazed... a richer man. You rest; and digest your experience, thus far...
As you ready yourself for your excursion to the island of the Second Truth, you see, on the horizon, many more islands that weren't visible before...
The lighthouse of Intuition pointed you in this direction, but was it intended as a set course towards a particular destination, or was the quest itself - the Eternal Journey of Intuitive Awareness - the actual objective, unfolding into the Truth you so seek?"

The "Psycho Babble" Experiment:

Frank Alcazar - Drums, Voices
Jimbo Toews - Keyboards, Voices

The "Psycho Babble" Experiment is more than just the seemingly maniacal musings of two twisted musicians. It is art; a creative scape honoring the brilliance, the beauty, the psychoses - of a mind inundated with random, psychotic thoughts... swirling about the brain. How would you like to live in there?!
Jimbo and I played the music in one live pass, and created 2 overdubs of voices to create the inane, and insane, ramblings that you shall experience. Recorded one afternoon, in the summer of 1991, at our old rehearsal digs... only to be rescued from the only copy in existence - on cassette - some 17 years later, and burned to digital media for posterity... Thanks, Jimbo.

Enjoy.

"Many people feel they are powerless to do anything effective with their lives. It takes courage to break out of the settled mold, but most find conformity more comfortable. This is why the opposite of courage in our society is not cowardice, it's conformity."
- Rollo May

"All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force... We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter."
- Max Planck

“We must see that consciousness is neither an isolated soul nor the mere function of a single nervous system, but of that totality of interrelated stars and galaxies which makes a nervous system possible.”
- Alan Watts

"You are an explorer, and you represent our species. And the greatest good you can do is to bring back a new idea, because our world is endangered by the absence of good ideas. Our world is in crisis because of the absence of consciousness. And so, to what ever degree, any one of us can bring back a small piece of the picture, and contribute it to the building of the new paradigm - then we participate in the redemption of the human spirit. And THAT, after all, is what it's REALLY all about."
- Terrence McKenna

"Were I called on to define, very briefly, the term Art, I should call it 'the reproduction of what the Senses perceive in Nature through the veil of the soul.' The mere imitation, however accurate, of what is in Nature, entitles no man to the sacred name of 'Artist.' "
- Edgar Allan Poe

"It’s better to live one day as a lion, than a thousand years as a lamb."
- George Rodriguez

"If a band ever finds that it is not giving their best effort and playing at the edge of their abilities at all times, then they are not playing the kind of music that they should be playing."
- Patrick T. Daly

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."
- Mark Twain

"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace."
- Jimi Hendrix

"You see things; and you say 'Why?' But I dream things that never were; and I say 'Why not?'"
- George Bernard Shaw

"Some people see the glass half full. Others see it half empty. I see a glass that's twice as big as it needs to be."
- George Carlin

"It's very difficult for me to dislike an artist. No matter what he's creating, the fact that he's experiencing the joy of creation makes me feel like we're in a brotherhood of some kind... we're in it together."
- Chick Corea

"The best way to see Faith is to shut the eye of Reason."
- Benjamin Franklin

"To those who understand, I extend my hand
To the doubtful I demand, take me as I am
Not under your command, I know where I stand
I won't change to fit your plan, take me as I am..."
- "As I Am", by Dream Theater

"Before we received this form, We had another face, Our original face. We can't see it with our eyes. We can only know it with wisdom."
