My Interests

.. width="425" height="350" .. Me in a nutshell? thats a tough question! Im a very simple guy...I've been told its good to be simple but so far most people read that as boring. I'm a proud single parent with a good job that I love. Unfortunatly between my kids and my work...that doesnt leave me much time to get out. So for now my social life and love life are on hold. Its not that i'm happy being single...I've just come to realize that there aren't a lot of women my age interested in staying home watching movies most nights. Not to mention it's a little tough to meet people when you rarely leave the house.When i do get out I LOVE to do karaoke! I usually hit breaktime on wednesday or thursday when i dont have my kids. I used to play poker all the time but not so much anymore. I'm still always up for a game and have all my gear set up and ready to go if anyone wants to play!

Music:

Just about anything thats not TOO hard core. Sucker for love songs or country songs that SHOULD NOT BE country songs. My ALL TIME favorite song is Kiss The Girl from the Little Mermaid.

Movies:

You name it! Faves would have to be Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Weird Science, Notting Hill, Love Actually, Joe Dirt, Run Ronnie Run, Super Troopers, Grandma's Boy, The Notebook, Star Wars (only the originals), All the Xmen movies, Superman I II and Returns, Team America and Meet the Feebles!

Television:

American Idol, House, The Sopranos, Studio 60, Heros, any Law and Order, Family Guy, the Girls Next Door, last but not least...SMALLVILLE BABY!!! Gotta love it...a soap opera for men!

Books:

I don't read much more than police beat and the program guide on my tivo

Heroes:

Lex Luthor...long story...Most people know the whole Superman/Lex Luther thing. And most people see Superman as the hero. I see Lex as the hero. Superman was born with all these amazing powers...didn't have to do anything to get them. Then we have Lex, just a normal guy, who with nothing more than the power of his own mind, takes on someone who is larger, stronger, faster....Lex uses the talents he worked for, to take on the most "super" man of all time. So Lex Luthor is my hero...not because I want to be evil. But because someday I want to fight against incredible odds...and win...because of who I made myself.It's the Lex Luthor in me that lets me walk up to any "superman, " smile....and walk away. So bring it on tough guys. I may not be as strong, I may not be as fast, but I'll always be one step ahead...
