The Nova Quartet is an exciting group from Montreal that fuses original, challenging compositions with solid groove and ambiance. Prize winners at Effendi Record's 2007 Jazz en Rafale, they have received positive acclaim from the likes of Christine Jensen and Chris McCann and have played alongside Montreal's Remi Bolduc. They are quickly emerging as a fresh voice in the world of jazz. The Montreal-based group has drawn its members from all over North America and connected while attending the jazz program at McGill University.
