About Me

"Just a low down dirty shame..." Tony Yalda is an independent singer/songwriter most notably recognized for his acting roles in the feature films "American Dreamz" and "Meet the Spartans." Tony combines his love for the blues and 1960’s doo-wop and girl groups, with a splash of modern influences like One Republic and Timbaland to create his unique style. His songs “Don’t Go” and “Low Down Dirty Shame” are catching attention in nightclubs and on independent radio stations. With the help of DJs across the nation, his music is being heard, resonating with listeners across the social spectrum. Look for Tony in the 2009 ABC Family television series "Roommates." On the big screen, he portrays an openly gay Muslim boy in the underground Islamic punk community in the highly anticipated indie feature "The Taqwacores." He has signed on to do three more features in 2009, including the remake of the classic horror film, "The Howling."
