About Me

Lac1 is a noise pop band from Newcastle, England. Well make you cry, laugh, and maybe feel confused, then throw a few bits of overdrive at you (quieter than war). Three with guitars and one on the drums.

Look out for a split 7" with Chippewa Falls in 2007 on fakeindielabel .

Update: We've been feeling a bit loud recently. So change the above to 'lots of overdrive', depending on our mood.

If anyone wants to get in touch with us, to come and play a show somewhere (we'd probably say yes, we are nice people), or just to say hello, then send us a message on here, or leave a comment, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Or you can email via the contact details on the brokenmirror site.

“a weird and wonderful potion of indie noise” (Do Something Pretty)

“a luxuriant eye popping sonic assault that bleeds hemorrhages heavily with melting licks and subtle blissed out psychedelia not to dissimilar to San Lorenzo (of Bearos records fame) but with the knowing pop kick of classic Dinosaur Jnr” (Losing Today)
