Other than music, I am a keen follower of all kind of sporting endeavours.. Football (soccer), tennis and MotoGP would make my top three..
I enjoy meeting all kinds of people, but when the opportunity to meet someone I admire has turned up, I have walked away more often than not...I've got such high expectations for them that no human could live up to... So I prefer to live in my imaginary world where people are flawless...boring perhaps..but one has to try to get by.. But Morrissey's head is a place I'd love to get a peak in....
I guess I could list my favorites in alphabetical order or something, but I'll just name a few to give a good allrounder... Tool, NIN, APC, Fantômas, Tomahawk, Mr. Bungle (you get the drift, anything with Mike Patton)....Morrissey, Placebo, Muse, Blur, Beck, Radiohead, Bowie...Tindersticks, Portishead, Nick Cave, EofDM, QOTSA...Millions of more, but those are the ones that came to mind right now...
Top something: Velvet Goldmine, Lost Highway, Pride and Prejudice (bbc version), Sexy Beast, Battle Royale, American Graffiti, Fifth Element, Sin City....that should give you pretty nice idea what movies I watch...At the moment I'm really into the series Work of Director *insert name here*...Great series..the Jonathan Glazer one is my favorite..Music videos have always had a huge influence on me...
Don't watch that much...Twin Peaks, X-files and MacGyver were great, so nothing new ever lives up to them..Gilmore Girls used to be great too and I still watch it..
I read a fair deal..From the present day writers I enjoy the writings of Vikram Seth, Salman Rushdie, Neil Gaiman and Jostein Gaarder...Dead ones Dostojevski, Tolstoi, Gogol, Kafka, Gabriel Garcia Marquez (yes, I know he's still alive and kicking), Oscar Wilde and so on...Loved And the Ass Saw the Angel by Nick Cave...
Still looking for the ultimate hero...I did play lots of Heroes Quest- series computer games as a child, so I could say they are my heroes...Go Rosella, or Larry for that matter...or Gabriel Knight in the later days...
