About Me
I bought my first harmonica 33 years ago. I have always had a passion for playing music and harmonica is the instrument by which I express myself the best. It has taken me on the most wonderful journeys. It has introduced me to some great friends. In the late 1980's it allowed the great honor of sharing the stage with one of my favorite (still to this day) singer/songwriters. Rusty Wier. Since that time it has allowed the honor of meeting and sharing the stage with many Texas/Red Dirt Artists including Deryl Dodd, Aaron Watson, Cooder Graw, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Mike Mancy Band, Drew Womack, Susan Gibson, Brandon Rhyder, The Red Dirt Rangers, Bleu Edmonson, Stoney Larue, Jeremy Watkins, Brandon Jenkins, The Jackson Taylor Band, Scott Evans, the Dedringers, Travis Linville, Wade Bowen, Rodney Pyatt, Darren Kozelsky, Tommy Alsup, Austin Alsup, Johnny Cooper, No Justice, Bart Crow, Joey Green, Ryan Turner, Todd Mankin and El Guapo, Gary P. Nunn, Tommy Alverson, Pauline Reese, Paula Nelson and many great local/regional performers. You might find me playing any kind of music. I love to play country, blues, southern rock, gospel, bluegrass, swing. reggae or any combination thereof. You might catch me at any venue, from the stage at Billy Bob's to your local Church, or maybe just sittin in with someone playing music out on the street or around a campfire. It is not the stage you are on, but who you are playing music with and for that makes it magic. I love to feel the energy people put out when playing and listening to good live music. I may have only played one song or all night, but I am truly honored and priviledged to be able to perform for and with so many wonderful people. I am truly grateful for this blessing in my life.
