The Lights History
The Lights es una banda española de Indie-rock que se formó en Madrid en Mayo de 2007. La historia comienza cuando a base de frecuentar los mismos lugares se conocieron Javier y Nacho, los guitarristas y cantantes del grupo. Ambos ya tenÃan experiencia de tocar en otras bandas y decidieron formar una propia para compartir inquietudes musicales. Al grupo se unieron Ãlvaro como bajista y Alfonso como baterÃa, que ya habÃan compartido experiencia en una banda anterior con Javier. Su música podrÃa clasificarse como Indie-rock, pues abarca muchas de las influencias de los componentes del grupo, desde Arctic Monkeys a Weezer, pasando por The Strokes, The libertines, The kooks, The View, Los Planetas, Interpol, Kings of Leon o The Who.
En la actualidad, la banda acaba de terminar su primera maqueta : "Firenze"
The Lights History
The Lights is a Spanish Indie-rock band formed in Madrid in May 2007. The story begins when Javier and Nacho, lead guitars and singers meet each other by wasting their time at the same places. Both had previous experience in playing in bands and decided to form their own, in order to share musical interests. Then, they recruited the best bass player in the Middle- East Ãlvaro and the cold-hearted soviet abnormal-brained drummer Alfonso, who had shared experience in other band with Javier. Their music can be defined as Indie-rock, because it mixes most of the band members influences, from Arctic Monkeys to Weezer, and going on with The Strokes, The libertines, The kooks The View, Los Planetas, Interpol, Kings of Leon or
The Who.
Nowadays, the band have just finished his first E.P. :"Firenze"
