David Wood is a Pagan and Mainstream Recording Artist based in Columbus, Ohio. His music has been described by local media as the Pop/Dance Alternative with a dash of Soul. Un-abashed and often times unclothed, David has established a following in many different communities. From High Energy Dance music and Soulful ballads, to the erotic and mystical . . . his music continues to appeal to a wide variety of audiences.
David has toured the national club circuit and performed at many Pagan festivals and events from his humble beginnings in 1990 to present day. He has continued to make himself available to such charitable groups as The American Cancer Society, where he performed with his dancers at the Ohio State University Horseshoe, The American Diabetes Association and the Columbus AIDS Task Force. Music has been written by David Wood for local television commercials and radio advertisements and he has managed to have small amounts of radio play and interviews with his original material.
A lot of people are surprised to hear that David Wood has created every sound and instrument you hear on his CDs. He usually performs his own backing vocals, except for when recording the Scrapbook CD with Danse’ Wrapture when they were his backing vocalists and dancers.

David Wood's spirituality began to take form in 1987 when he started studying Witchcraft as a solitary practitioner. He realised that he needed a stable foundation in order to go deeper within himself and receive appropriate guidance and instruction. He dedicated into his beloved Tradition known as the Black Forest Clan, led by Silver RavenWolf, in 1997 and now is a 3rd Degree Witch and High Priest of The Black Forest Clan and Circle Seminary. He is a Reiki and Hoodoo practictioner and very involved with Spiritism, where he has received instruction from Ray Malbrough. David is a chartered Clan Head and currently heads two Black Forest Covens within his Clan of the Black Leopard.
David Wood's Craft lineage can be traced from Gerald Gardner to Raymond Buckland, Buckland to Michael Ragan (Seax Wicca), Ragan to Lord Serphant (Family of Serpent Stone), Lord Serphant to Silver RavenWolf, and from Lady Silver to David Wood. David Wood also practices the art of Pow-Wow learned through the teachings of the Black Forest Clan.
Pow-Wow magick is not related to Native American Indian studies, spirituality, or lineage, but is a historically accurate magickal system devised by the German settlers of rural Pennsylvania. This Pennsylvania Dutch Pow-Wow magick is a unique element of the Black Forest Clan. Third degree initiates and elders of Black Forest are also considered "Pow-Wow Artists" and are the only Witches in the United States to hold this particular lineage.
David's Pow-Wow lineage was passed from Gertie Guise to Preston Zerbe, from Preston Zerbe to Silver RavenWolf and from Lady Silver to David Wood.
