The story of Synectix started somewhere around the year 2001 when two groups from the city of Ramnicu Valcea in Romania - AerophobiA (memebers: Iulian Cojocaru and George Netu) and Synthet!k (members: Costin Cadelcu and Robert Bila) decided to unite their know-how into one song called "Noaptea demonilor" - "The demons' night". Their collaboration was limited at that time only for this track. Later on, in the year 2006, the same two groups decided to try another collaboration and started making some songs. At that time 4 songs were "born": Do you wanna have sex (formerly known as SEX), Here U R, Flying and Absolute club. The collaboration was succesful so they decided to unite in a single project called at that time SKREEM. Their first song, "Do you wanna have sex" reached the ears of some young producers from Romania (Hy2RoGeN and Paul Damixie) and a producer from the US (Dj/Producer/Remixer Manendra) and these guys decided to remix the song that would be later on called "SEX". The remixes were included on an EP released with L8 Night Records in Florida, US, owned by Dj Manendra. This was the first release for the project.
Later on some of the guys decided that the producing career was not what they wanted and decided to leave the project. So from 4 guys that started this project, the number decreased at two: Iulian Cojocaru a.k.a. Groove909 and Costin Cadelcu a.k.a. Deejay Davis. They decided to keep the project going but under the name SYNECTIX.
The reason why they chose this name is its his own content: Trust things that are alien, and alienate things that are trusted. That's what we're trying to do with our music... Hope u enjoy it!
Synectix is basically a studio project, it didn't appear in any live shows, it has been promoted through the internet, through websites, a few radio stations in Romania...
Our goal is to create good music combined with the best vocals (that we're still trying to find). We don't want to stick to a permanent vocal in our project, because different genres need different vocals. That is why you will hear 3 different voices on 3 different songs that we produced so far, and we think they sound pretty good. There's lots of work to be done regarding the final mastering, but we're on it... any suggestions you have, we're more than happy if you share them with us.Cheers from Iulian and Costin a.k.a. SynectiX
