Nortio, alias Norbert Motolai was born on 18th April 1983 in Budapest.
Interest on music and become a producer appeared already when he was only a pupil in the high school.
Nortio was only 16 years old when he got into the world of electronic music. From this date he has been building his carrier purposfully. He received his frist computer from his parents when he was 17 for that he is very grateful because it was the first step on the way to reach his wishful dream. Then he was already aware of how to make the present use. He wanted to create music and he managed it. At the beginning it was held only for a teenager hobby in his environment but he was expressly sure what he wants to do.
In this time the popular techno style, which was beloved by his friends as well, has a significant influance on his music but later it has changed together with the changing of his music taste.
Nortio’s carrier started very slowly. HIs first composiotions were often accepted negativly, but these bad experiences dit not brake off his enthusiasm, on the contrary they inspired Nortio to improve himself and continue creating more and more great music to demonstrate for his environment and for himself as well.
He decided to prove that he is able to create well music. In this time began the famous Virus-party series.
The manager of this party was Nortio’s one of the best friends: Krisztian Vajon who was given a mix CD from Nortio with the expectation to have a chance to play music on this party.
Unfortunately this CD did not bring the sucess for Nortio but after it he gave an other CD made from own music to Krisztian and it was accepted positivly. As a result of the success Krisztian and Nortio started to create music together. The name of the co-operation was FuturepunkZ, they played music together on a few parties.
In this time Nortio was already 20 years old and he often read the so called Freee magazine. In one of the issue of this magazine a producer competition brought to his attention. He decided to try himself but he was aware of the fact that his music can not cope with the other competitors because his music’s style is too fast and offensive. He decided to create a house song with a more acceptable style and with this song he took part ont he competition. After a few weeks he was called by phone that his song came to a CD (Ture sounf freee 4 Nortio-Pure). It was a great pleasure for him due to it he tried to create more songs in style house and progressive which brought more and more success for Nortio.
With his brother, Dani they founded the so called Moti Brothers in 2004. Among their common songs we can find emotionfull, deep dark music and happy, melodic song as well. For their stlye are charakteristic the thoughtfull, deep, sometimes tribal othertimes happy songs.
The music of Moti Brother was recognised in 2006 by the From magazine as well. On the producer competition of the magazine they managed to come into the first competitors but the winners were not ranked. With the first 3 competitors there were made a longer interview for the readers of the magazine.
The year 2007 started well for Nortio. In January a longer article could be read about him on the page musicforever. Hu.
He was regularly called back to radios as Justmusic.fm, Bkfm.
In the second half year of 2007 Nortio received a residence in a club in his home town called Cocus Club.
1 or 2 parties are organised here with a great success.
In this year a US recorder dispenser has discovered his talent as well.
SoundTribe Records dumped fast on the genious Nortio! From the end of this year Nortio’s songs are going to be released and distributed by SoundTribe Records.
