Born in Idaho, eyes opened while living with my Thai family, heart still in Seattle, and starting fresh in
Virginia, I have never been one to accept anyone else's vision for my future. Complexity, for me, is not a dirty word. Life is all about the subtle, grey areas, and everything is relative.
I do not really care about the way people look, but I do care how I see them, and most importantly, how
they see themselves. I love when people take chances -- even big, fatty, stupid ones that blow up in their
face, because nothing is worse than someone who lives life as they are supposed to. I generally try not to
judge, but rather to understand -- although there are certain things I don't think I ever will understand,
such as making yourself unhappy to feel like you belong, when all along, you've belonged to those who
are most important to you. Above all, I anticipate.
