About Me

F.C. Vardar was founded in 1947. Vardar's most glorious moment came in 1987, when the team lead by Darko Pancev, Ilija Najdoski, Dragan Kanatlarovski, Cedomir Janevski and Vujadin Stanojkovic won the Yugoslav First League title. By winning the league Vardar became the first and only Macedonian club to win the national Yugoslav Championship, temporarily breaking the domimance of the big four of Yugoslav football at that time; Red Star Belgrade, Partizan Belgrade, Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split. Following the breakup of Yugoslavia and the formation of the Macedonian First League, Vardar established itself as the dominant club in the new competition, winning three consecutive league titles (1992/1993,1993/1994,1994/1995), another 2 consecutive league titles (2001/2002, 2002/2003) and five Macedonian Cups (1992/1993, 1994/1995, 1997/1998/, 1998/1999, 2006/2007).

"Komiti" are the first organized supporters group of F.C. Vardar and they are founded at 4th June 1987 in Skopje, on the match between F.C. Vardar and Red Star. Through their existence they left significant seal in the history of F.C. Vardar and with their support on the matches they have always been the 12th player of the team. "Komiti" have followed F.C. Vardar on many away matches in former Yugoslavia, all over Macedonia and everywhere across Europe.
