SISTER OF PAIN is a Las Vegas based rock band that performs nationwide. The vast majority of the material is original.
SISTER OF PAIN is currently performing at several venues here in Sin City and recording new material.
SISTER OF PAIN (SOP) was formed in 2008 when Las Vegas drummer, "Memphis" searched for, found and enlisted the musical talents of guitar player D.J. ("RLDVS" among friends and fans). The vision that each one had for SOP was practically identical. So, the decision was made to look for other, likewise musicians.
Together they scoured the Las Vegas music scene for a bass player and put out the word as to exactly what they were looking for. They were soon contacted by Steve-o ("ZERO" among friends and fans) and the core of SOP began to take shape.
During this time, the writing process began with all three members contributing in one way or another. Also, during this time, several vocalists and second guitar players were auditioned. A vocalist contacted SOP during this time, auditioned and became the voice of SOP. B.B. (DEACON SYNN among friends and fans) and SOP began to play locally in their hometown of Las Vegas.
Additionally, SOP added a second, permanent guitar player. Zach ("BALLZACH" among friends and fans) joined the band and is currently with SOP recording and preparing for numerous play dates.
One guitar player, Louie ("LOUDOG" among friends and fans) was in the SOP lineup for many, many months and remained with SOP until late 2008. During his tenure with SOP he contributed ideas and a musical influence that remains with SOP today.
SOP is currently compiling new material to be recorded and presented live, locally and out of state. As ALWAYS, SOP wants to thank EVERY fan and friend for all of your support and patience during the "refining" process of SOP.
