About Me

I am every bit as good at DDR as my profile picture suggests. I have semi-elitist taste in movies and music, much to the chagrin of most people I know. I used to be an English major, and bad grammar and spelling irritate (not "aggravate") me to no end. Sometimes I make attempts at having crazy outdoor adventures with my friends, but I am really just a city boy at heart. I love God. I freely choose to spend several hours a week volunteering with high school and junior high kids, and I enjoy it very much. I have a Schoolhouse Rock soundtrack with a bunch of mid-90s college rock and rap groups (Pavement, Better than Ezra, Skee-Lo) doing everything from "Verb: That's What's Happening" to "The Shot Heard 'Round the World".

My Interests

I'm interested in lots of things. I'm interested in listening to and making music (I play the bass). Car-dancing in way fun when you have good music and friends who are willing to look stupid with you - sometimes you don't even need friends. I'm interested in English literature (it was my major in college before I dropped out). I'm one of those total nerds who almost always enjoyed the required reading throughout high school. I'm interested in finding the girl who is right for me. I'm interested in keeping in touch with my old friends, which is mostly the reason I'm on here. Please don't add me without good reason.
