About Me

We are The Mockingbirds. Obviously.

WE'RE OUT OF ACTION FOR A MONTH OR TWO. Work and injuries have held us back but we're back in november in the rose & crown, plus back in the studio as soon as we can arrange a weekend we're all together.

Born out of frustration with the lack of bands in the area that we ourselves like to listen to and inspired by the bands we know and love.

Influences: Oasis, The Stone Roses, The Jam, The Libertines and every other band we love ranging from obscure to mainstream.

Our influences come from anywhere and everywhere. Everything we see, hear and read influences our writing. There's no time for 'i hate myself and i want to die' in our songs, the world's a fucked up enough place as it is without us adding to it. If anything, music should be about looking on the, positive side to things, no matter how shit they seem.
