About Me

I am a "Moonraker" through and through. This is the name given to someone born and bred in the county of Wiltshire, England. Stonehenge is just 28miles from where I live, Avebury prehistoric stone circle is 13 miles, Bath, the only World Heritage city in the UK is also 13miles (just outside the Wiltshire border), Castle Combe, the prettiest village in England is 5miles, and the National Trust village of Lacock is 4miles. Why would I want to live anywhere else? It is a magical and mysterious place. We have been keeping the world guessing for thousands of years, and now this area is the centre of the crop circle formations. Just to pinpoint my house, the site of the car crash in which the rock n' roll star Eddie Cochran was killed in 1960 is just a few hundred yards from here. <
