The Crossing

About Me

MyGen Profile GeneratorThe Crossing banded together in the Fall of 2006 to compete in the 2007 Minnechaug Battle of the Bands, and has been together ever since. We performed at the Battle that year, and will be coming back for the 2008 Battle of the Bands, which will be held in January. We've also placed second at open mic night at Majestic Theater on July 10th, 2007, and we opened for the 2007 Wilbraham Peach Festival. We are currently preparing for the first ever Wilbraham Fall Festival and, of course, the Battle. Why The Crossing? After meeting each others' musical interests, we realized how different each of our styles were. From ska to punk rock, from harder rock to country rock, we all had completely different musical styles. This, we figured, was a crossing of all different music to create a completely new style (once we start writing music instead of covers).
