She is always the first one to come running when I whistle for them and has been with me the longest!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cowboy (Cheyennes Cruzzin Cowboy) is a Red Chocolate Rocky Mountain Gaited gelding who is so much fun to ride and his nickname is HAPPY FEET because he really throws his feet and rocks his head while gaiting so he can hear his curb chain jingle!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MC (Milk Chocolate Royale) is a Dappled Dark Chocolate Palomino and is also a Rocky Mountain Gaited gelding who is the biggest puppy dog..just wants to hang out and be loved on!! When riding him while he is in his gaiting zone..it feels so magical and he looks so majestic. It even looks like his flowing mane and tail are dancing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ They are like our Kids..as we affectionately call them!! I show them in different aspects of the horse show circuit during the warmer months. Paris is my winning Halter horse and I have even had a judge tell me Paris is EYE CANDY!! I have ridden both Cowboy and MC in gaiting horse classes..and we done very well together and placed every time!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As of March 7th 2008..we just bought a 14.2 hand tall registered KMSHA..Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse..named CHOPPER (Ghost Riders Chopper). He is a 7 year old black gelding who will be our oldest granddaughter..Celestes'..new horse to ride/show on. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On July 17th 2008..we had Red Wind (Red Wind's Hilltopper) delivered from New Mexico. He is an 8 year old Sorrel & White Tobiano Tennessee Walking Horse gelding and what an awesome..smooth gaited..fun boy to ride!! Has a super sweet horsenality!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On July 21st 2009..we got DUSTY..a 12 year old dappled grey with black peppered spots QUARAB mare (1/2 Quarter Horse 1/2 Arabian). She is a kick to ride with only a halter on and very well trained!! She is a RESCUE horse that was treated very badly by her previous owner and not taken care of. Needs to have weight put on her, corrective shoeing and joint supplement for the arthritus in her knees. She is soooo sweet and the kind of horse that ANYONE can get on and ride. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On July 24th 2008..we were given LIGHTNING..a 16 year old big beautiful Buckskin Gelding that is a registered Foundation Quarter Horse gelding. He is 110% bombproof and is Kahlua's new babysitter horse. He is so perfect for kids because of his super mellow horsenality. He is also a RESCUE horse because of his hooves being so messed up that he needs a lot of corrective shoeing and was so underweight that his ribs and hip bones stuck out. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ February 6, 2009..today I became the new owner of an awesome 12 year old Quarter Horse Mare named Kota (Dakotas Black Hills Gold). She is a very unique dappled Palomino and just a sweetheart. She will definitly be a head turner when she sheds out her winter coat!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ February 8, 2009..Went to look at 2 registered Miniature Horses today and it was love at first sight so of course I had to buy them both!! BeBe is a 33" Palomino Mare and Lea is a 28" Buckskin Mare. They both have been shown in Halter, Trial and Liberty classes and done very well within the Idaho show circuit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ July 2009..Friday..a 20 year old registered Palomino Tennessee Walker became a part of our herd family. He is just a love and Celeste has already claimed him as her horse..she has such a blast on him. He is bomb proof and anyone can ride him!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ March 2010 ~ drove to Oregon and picked up 8 miniature horses. I have decided that they are going to be my new business of breeding/raising them for sale. I wanted Appaloosas since I could not find very many in Idaho and came home with a beautiful group of minis to start out with. Sizzler is my main stallion and he is a black leopard Appy and such a perfect gentleman. Rock Star is my other Appy stallion and is such a character. My 4 breeding mares are Etruska, Fashion, Dreamer and Spanish. Then I got a 22" yearling filly named Little Bit and a Pinto gelding named Mavericks Top Gun. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ April 28, 2010 ~ Etruska had her foal today..a gorgeous little Appy colt. His registered name will be "Thunder Roads Gunners Ammunition". He is so perfect and born on the same day as my twin granddaughters..pretty neat!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ June 2010 - Since we have decided to raise a small cattle herd..I went out and bought an awesome minimal grey registered AQHA gelding named Gunsmokes Q-tip Shooter. He is all cue trained to the point I dont even have to use a bridle and can he ever cut cows. Just a dream to ride!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ August 2010 ~ Yup...bought another AQHA Gelding. His name is Diesel and he is a beautiful Sorrel. Super dog gentle and Celeste get on him, puts the riens on his neck and does her FLYING excercises while he is trotting around. I think that he will be the horse I start her out doing Gymkhanas on...barrel racing and pole bending..for next years show season. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I am a member of the APHA (American Paint Horse Association), TWHBEA (Tennessee Walking Horse Association), KMSHA (Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse Association), EIGHA (Eastern Idaho Gaited Horse Association) and NetPosse (Stolen/Lost Horse Recovery Club). Recently became of member of AMHA and AMHR miniature horse associations. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~We also have a registered white Ice Pommeranian named Harley who is my shadow and 3 awesome, loving Siamese cats named Smore, Dylan and Cruiser, a calico named Cali (what else) and a brand new lilac point Siamese kitten as of September 2010 named CB...along with a couple dozen barn/ranch cats. I would rather have a bunch of barn cats around than a bunch of unwanted critters..LOL!!One of our barn cats that has been here for over a year..CALI..has now become a new member of our housecat brigade. We believe she was someones house cat because she is spayed and has good house sense. Sam has decided that she is HIS cat..LOL!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I was given my Native American name of: Ishta Sunmanitu Tanka Ska .. which is Lakota for: White She Wolf..by Charlie..A Lakota Sioux Medicine Man..many many years ago and my Animal Spirit Guide is also the WOLF!!

SAM AND I HAD A GREAT TIME DOING THE 15 MILE RIDE ON CHOPPER AND DAKOTA WITH MY GAITED HORSE CLUB IN HARRIMAN STATE PARK. WE RODE ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN AND GOT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VIEWS OF HARRIMAN PARK AND ALSO OF ISLAND PARK!! IT WAS AN AWESOME DAY TO DO THIS FUN RIDE.

Although it was a wet and rainy day..we still did really well in the classes entered!!Dakota won 2nd place in the in-hand trail class with 47 entries. THE FIRST SHOW OF THE SEASON AND WE PLACED IN EVERY CLASS ENTERED!! IT WAS A VERY RAINY DAY AND PARIS AND LIGHTNING DID SUPER!! PARIS WON 2ND PLACE IN HALTER MARE..CELESTE WON 1ST PLACE RIDING LIGHTNING IN THE LEAD-LINE CLASS AND THEN LIGHTNING WON 4TH PLACE IN THE RIDING TRAIL CLASS.NEXT WEEK..THE CHALLIS SHOW..YEE HAW!!
